India

Visa Restoration: 

India has restored all existing visas that were previously suspended, including some electronic visas, Tourist Visas, and Medical Visas. 

Registration Requirements: 

Foreign citizens visiting India for study, research, work, or missionary purposes must register their visit with the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) or Foreigners Registration Officer (FRO) within 14 days of arrival. 

United Kingdom

Health and Care Worker Visa Closed: 

Entry clearance for care workers and senior care workers under this route is closed to new overseas applicants as of July 22, 2025. 

Skilled Worker Visa Changes: 

From the same date, new skilled worker visas are generally only available for jobs requiring a degree-level qualification, with some exceptions for sectors with staff shortages continuing until the end of 2026. 

United States

Diversity Visa (DV) Program: The 2025 DV Program is nearing its 7% cap for Egypt. 

CDC Visa Policy: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has removed the COVID-19 vaccination requirement for immigrant visa applicants. 

USCIS Policy Updates: USCIS is implementing new policies, including guidance aligned with an Executive Order to prevent male athletes from competing in women's sports and clarifications on interview criteria for asylees and refugees.
