Jethro Tull "Cross Eyed Mary" Live @ Capital Center 1977
The incomparable Ian Anderson music machine rolls into town in grand style. Hope you enjoy this fantastically restored 1977 sound and footage. While never having the greatest light show in the business, Ian Anderson makes up for that with his superb humor and theatrics, and of course his performance skills. You have to admire his style, in spite of its dark and prickly nature. It's really funny how he harasses the other musicians as they play solos. And quite original how Ian sings and plays flute at the same time in harmony.... It's not that hard to do if you can do both individually.
