Hyenas Attack Young Hippo

Only Africa's most courageous carnivores will take on a fully-grown hippo. These huge herbivores, with 50-centimeter teeth and thick, tire-like skin, are notoriously cantankerous and one of the continent's most dangerous beasts. This hyena is whispering something into the ear of this hippo while its pals consume him. It's informing the hippo that they're all hungry in case he didn't notice. The hyenas' whispers go unanswered because the hippo is visibly sick.

This sickly hippo has given up on life, which is advantageous to the hyena. The hippo is battered, hurt, or sick after these hyenas bite into it, and it scarcely moves. The hippo tries to reach the water, but the hyena keeps slaughtering. The hippo takes a few more seconds to recover before swimming deeper into the water, where the hyena does not appear to want to go. This hippo is almost dead, but he isn't, even though hyenas have laid the table and are feasting on the hippo's guts. The poor animal is moping, but he has no control over the hyenas.

Wild Dogs Hunt And Kill Impala In Water

A pack of wild dogs chased an impala across the open clearings and into a waterhole. The video joins the action as the impala is swimming in the waterhole, surrounded by the African wild dog pack. Eventually, the swimming impala makes it to shore to rest, but the pack soon gets their breakfast! The chase is on, as one of the dogs runs into the water to grab the large impala and with the help of a friend, they manage to drag the animal out of the water.

This impala remains in the water, hoping these wild dogs won’t go in to bring it to shore, but that’s not knowing the dogs very well. They wait on both sides of the waterhole, and one group manages to snatch it out of the water, while the other group watches. During a morning drive in the Greater Kruger National Park, onlookers came across two wild dogs that had chased an impala into a dam. The wild dogs then proceeded to swim toward the impala to try and capture it. After a few tries, the wild dogs were eventually able to pull the impala out of the water to eat it while it was still alive.
