A homeowner has revealed footage of the moment he confronted alleged fly-tippers abusing his skip and chucked their rubbish across the street – while barefoot and wearing just his dressing gown.

John Paul Lucas had not yet got out of bed when he heard the 'parasites to society' filling his skip with unwanted trash after pulling up outside his home in Splott, in Cardiff, in their van.

The hilarious footage shows the 40-year-old dashing out in his nightwear, angrily dumping some of the items back into their vehicle before throwing the rest across the street.

The trio of suspected fly-tippers can be seen watching on in horror, one offering a half-hearted gesture with his arms stretched out, before they have to reload their van and leave.

John said: “I was furious. They are parasites to society. Using other people’s services is rife. You’ve got to pay for what you use. It is basically theft of service.
