Everything you've lived through, from the times you stayed in old patterns, to the times you failed so spectacularly that you had to rebuild yourself from the inside out, was preparing you for what comes next. When you choose to continue living from your wounds, it allows all of your grief and anger to keep pouring out into the world, but when you finally let your wounds heal, your scars become a source of wisdom for others.
By choosing to do the inner work of healing your past, you learn to stop projecting your pain out into your own life and into the lives of everyone around you. When you learn to accept all sides of yourself (especially the parts you have judged in the past!) you can start offering your wholeness to the world and this is the most powerful thing you can give, not only to the people you are here to serve but most importantly, to yourself.
