Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier Twitter Exchange About 500k Donation Renews Rivalry

Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier exchanged a series of tweets after Poirier revealed that Conor never followed through with the 500k that he offered to donate to his foundation prior to their fight. Late in the fall of 2020 Conor said he would make the donation and wanted to have a charity boxing exhibition match with Poirier in December of 2020. The UFC eventually ended up setting up a fight for that in January 2021 at UFC 257, Conor said he would still honor the contribution he offered.
Initially McGregor posted his prediction on Instagram a Round 4 Finish of Poirier when they meet for the trilogy which led to Poirier fired back on Twitter on April 11th and brought up that he stopped hearing back from McGregor's team about the donation.
