Is dorm living or apartment living the best fit for you?

Today we dive into the pros and cons of living on campus versus off campus for your freshman year of college.

Pros of off-campus living:
-Much more privacy
-Your own bathroom/only shared with a few people
-Full-size kitchen
-No RA monitoring your every activity
-Will be harder to gain the Freshman 15 ;)
-Ability to focus better on schoolwork because you have a door to shut
-If you even slightly enjoy your downtime, you are able to have that in an apartment

Cons of living off-campus:
-May be a far walk to get to campus
-Much more challenging to make friends as a freshman
-May be more expensive (in some cases not much more)
-May struggle to use all of your weekly meals if you have a campus meal plan.
