In this video, I mention the one little tool that has just saved me lots of time, along with lot of effort. If you’ve ever been in the situation where you have a very rusty tie rod that is so corroded to the jam nut, you’d know that sometimes you can spend hours trying to break it free. I personally have been in the situation where I’ve had to grind down the tie rod end so much so that it would render the tie rod un-useable. Well with this tool and a bit of heat, you can see that 20 years later, the jam nut & tie rod end don’t stand a chance against this tool. It is a bit expensive when you think of it being just a rocket with a slit down the side, but it is a well worth investment to know that you can use a power tools to take it off in a breeze!!
