Flocculation, using salts to make things settle.
This is a lab I completed for my MET 220L class at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. I've been studying to become a metallurgical engineer and have now been completing my labs at home due to COVID-19. This video focuses on flocculation, which is a process frequently used to help tailing ponds settle and other water purification processes. Only salts are added to the water and you can clearly see their affects, watch the video to find out some more.
