The Monkey with No Name

Please do your due diligence as I'm unable to go over every video shown on these types of channels. What I share is only scratching the surface of what goes on.

Many of these channels that are located in Southeast Asia are poaching, illegally selling and keeping these wild monkeys as "pets". Often times groups of VOs (videographers) will own and film wild monkeys across multiple channels. Once they are no longer useful (cute) they often get "released" into the wild will a low survivability rate because of unnatural upbringing aka being humanized. "Monkeys are not pets they should not be treated like a human child and forced to be "disciplined" and "perform" for the camera. I encourage you to report any channels that perform these types of acts. I also ask you to please do your due diligence and further educate yourself about how monkeys live in their natural habitat as well as things like social hierarchy, etc. This way you are better equipped to know what is natural behavior and what is not. Stay diligent!
