Gay student heckled by parent at board meeting

A high school student discussing homophobic bullying at a Massachusetts school board meeting was interrupted by a parent.

Mackenzie Atwood was addressing a previous speaker, speaking out about being bullied because she is gay when she was interrupted.

Mid-sentence she said a woman stood up and said, "this is the type of indoctrination that's being taught in schools."

Atwood said the moment was very emotional for her and she's still trying to process what happened.
