A major update has come for central government employees and pensioners regarding the 8th Central Pay Commission, bringing fresh expectations about salary revision and benefits.

The commission has extended the deadline for submitting memorandums till 15 June 2026, giving employees more time to present their demands before the panel’s key meetings.

As per the latest schedule, the commission will visit multiple locations including Srinagar and Ladakh in June 2026, followed by Kolkata on 9–10 July 2026, where direct discussions will be held with employee unions and organizations.
