HearMeOut: Emergency Alert App for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Users | Hackathon Demo .

Introducing **HearMeOut**, an AI-powered mobile app that empowers deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to stay safe during emergencies.
In this demo, we showcase how HearMeOut detects emergency keywords like "fire" or "evacuate" through real-time speech-to-text AI, and immediately alerts users by vibrating the phone, flashing the flashlight, and displaying a clear emergency alert screen.
Built with React Native, Supabase, and Google Cloud Speech-to-Text API, HearMeOut aims to bridge the communication gap in critical situations and promote accessibility for all.
