I also want to clarify that my math was wrong. 120 was all I had on me, which doesn't cover a years rent like I had wanted. My math was just wrong because I'm bad at math, I was hungry, and tired (two consecutive 7 hour bus rides back to back) and I was pretty emotional when I came into their home. My mind wasn't straight. Either way, sorry about the confusion. It was still possible for 6 months of rent, but she likely used the money for Tet celebrations, (as she stated in the end) which is completely fine to me.
