Whats In Your Toolbox Toolmakers Collaboration: Machinist Vice Part 1

This is the first episode in a short series that will be about machining the main body of a tool makers vice. This vice is part of a collaboration with several other guys on YouTube. I will be machining the main vice body while others will be machining the other parts. Once all parts are finished it will be heat treated and surface ground to final size. It will then be hand delivered to Keith Fenner for his annual What's In Your Box giveaway.

Follow along as we find a vice buried inside this old piece of alloy steel that's been laying around my shop for decades.
I will later be posting links to others YouTube channels who are a part of this build.

This is also the very first job I do on the newly repaired Kearney & Trecker milling machine.
