Can you laser engrave a cardboard box without setting it on fire?

For Episode 20 of Will It Engrave?, we grabbed an ordinary shipping box and put it under the laser to see what would happen. Cardboard might not sound exciting, but the results were surprisingly clean and turned a plain box into something with real personality.

This also got us wondering… could custom engraved packaging actually make shipping products more fun?
