Dino suited for water makes a splash | Science News
Bones of a Spinosaurus, plus a digital model based on them and other fossil material, show that the species was the first dinosaur with unmistakable adaptations for a life spent to a large extent in water, scientists say. Spinosaurus may also be the only predatory dinosaur to have walked on all fours instead of on its hind legs as T. rex. did.

Spinosaurus will be the subject of a new exhibition at the National Geographic Museum in Washington, D.C., opening Sept. 12, as well as the topic of a National Geographic/NOVA special airing on PBS Nov. 5 at 9 p.m.
