Saudi Arabia sets Wednesday start to Ramadan 2026 | ANC

On The Scene: The holy month of Ramadan in the Philippines will begin on Thursday, February 19, 2026, according to the Bangsamoro Grand Mufti. Meanwhile, members of Saudi Arabia's moon sighting committee announced on Tuesday (February 17) that the holy month of Ramadan will begin in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday (February 18), after spotting the crescent moon heralding the arrival of the Islamic month of fasting.
