Lineman Belt 101 for Hunters

Hunters - there is no reason you shouldn't be safe climbing the tree. We all understand the importance of safety harnesses in a tree stands. You should be just as safe while climbing the tree. Converting to a tree saddle, or saddle hunting is one way to be completely safe when hunting above the ground.

I call the Ropeman 1 a "mechanical prussic" in the video. I was unaware that there is an actual device called a mechanical prussic that functions differently than the Ropeman 1. For purposes of this video, the Ropeman is a mechanical replacement for a prussic knot.
