Log 9 Materials’ disruptive battery technology: Log 9 materials has successfully developed a disruptive battery technology which will not only charge your electric two-wheelers in less than 15 minutes and three-wheelers in 30 minutes but will also last for as long as 15 years. Unlike, most EV batteries that are Lithium-based, the battery developed by Log 9 Materials is based on the supercapacitor technology.

Bellatrix Aerospace is building a space taxi: Indian spacetech startup Bellatrix Aerospace is building an orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) – a space taxi, which will be capable of putting multiple satellites into multiple orbits. This means that small satellite operators that had to wait for years for the right rocket and then had to burn the fuel in order to put their satellites into the correct orbits will simply be able to use Bellatrix’s space taxi to do everything for them.

Koo App grows as the government shuns Twitter: As Twitter fails to comply with the government’s orders of banning certain accounts amid the farmers' protests citing ‘freedom of expression’, the government has decided to make Koo app its new home. Koo app is an Indian version of Twitter – offering a similar microblogging platform for Indian language users. In a fight between the government and Twitter, as more government departments, ministers and prominent personalities flock to Koo app, the Indian version of Twitter has seen a massive 10X growth and now has more than 3 million downloads in just the last two weeks.

Snapchat partners with ShareChat’s Moj: Snapchat has partnered with ShareChat’s short video app Moj for its innovative Camera Kit technology. This is the first time Snapchat has partnered with an Indian firm for its Camera Kit technology.

Flipkart expands into B2B grocery: Last year, Flipkart had ventured into B2B e-commerce with the launch of Flipkart Wholesale by offering fashion products to small retailers and MSMEs which is now available across 23 cities. Flipkart has decided to expand its B2B business by adding a new category of products – grocery.

DailyNinja and BigBasket get a Rs 231 crore notice from Town Essentials: According to Town Essentials, they were DailyNinja’s exclusive supplier but since the acquisition of DailyNinja by BigBasket last year, the company hasn’t been keeping up with its partnership due to which Town Essentials has faced heavy losses.

Cure.fit acquires Fitternity: After acquiring US-based Onyx last month, Cure.fit has acquired fitness facilities aggregator startup Fitternity. With this acquisition, Cure.fit will have access to more than 5,000 fitness centers spread across over 130 cities and used by more than 3 million customers.

BharatPe raises $108 million: BharatPe has raised $108 million (Rs 786 crore) from Coatue Management, Ribbit Capital, Insight Partners, Steadview Capital, Beenext, Amplo and Sequoia Capital at a $900 million (Rs 6,550 crore) valuation.

Dailyhunt’s parent raises over $100 million: Dailyhunt’s parent VerSe Innovation has raised more than $100 million (Rs 728 crore) from Qatar Investment Authority, Glade Brook Capital Partners, Canaan Valley Capital and Sofina Group.

SUGAR Cosmetics raises $21 million: SUGAR Cosmetics has raised $21 million (Rs 153 crore) from Elevation Capital, A91 Partners, India Quotient & Stride Ventures.
