Santa Cruz Rail Trail Segment 7 Phase 1 - A Horrible Use of Measure D Funds (Part 2 of 2)

Excuse the sloppy camera work. Today I tried out the new segment 7 phase 1 of the rail trail. What a terrible execution. A 75 foot wide corridor to work with and the trail is shoved to a side between dangerous fences cars parked in the trail and other hazards. Intersections are also particularly dangerous through this stretch and there simply isn't room for pedestrians and bikes. Join me as I ride the currently completed segment and point out the issues that came with the $10M pricetag.
