Jack and the group attempt to escape the island aboard the submarine, believing they can finally leave — but the Man in Black has already set a deadly trap in motion. When a bomb is discovered on board, panic sets in as the survivors scramble to figure out how to stop it.

Despite their efforts, the submarine explodes, resulting in devastating losses — including Sun, Jin, and Sayid. The emotional fallout hits hard as the remaining survivors are forced to confront the reality that not everyone will survive the endgame.

This episode delivers one of the most tragic moments in the entire series and raises the stakes heading into the final episodes.
