The Television Talk Show: The Chuck Woolery Show (w/guest Marilyn McCoo)
During the incredible talk show era of the early 1990s, there were a vast amount and array of talk shows on television, and one of them was The Chuck Woolery Show. It ran in 1991, and was one of many endeavors of Mr. Woolery at that time.
Chuck Woolery had (and still has) a great warmth, charm and easy conversational style, and it worked very well for his talk show, albeit for a single season.
In this interview segment, Woolery interviews on of our all-time favorites here at Television Vanguard - singer, sometime actress and television host/presenter Marilyn McCoo of The 5th Dimension fame.
This episode was broadcast on January 20, 1992.

Enjoy!
Editor's note: As we near the close of the unofficial end of summer and the Labor Day holiday weekend, we'll be bringing to a close our summer-long tribute to the television talk show. We've enjoying bringing to our viewers this long look back at the origins and highlights of the history of the television talk show from the 1950s to this past decade.
We have one final (and very special) talk show tribute tomorrow/Friday to wrap up summer, and a special birthday tribute to a lovely lady and multi-talented actress, singer, dancer and nightclub entertainer on Sunday.
Then, beginning Monday evening, we'll begin our look back at the 1966-1967 television season, which will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this fall.
