Picking the Right All Mountain Snowboard (Tips w/ Andreas @Comor)

There is a big gap in my snowboards. My Jones Storm Chaser powderboard is a total beast, but it's limited in it's use. The Burton Process is a little small and getting old and loose: still good fun in the park, but not much else.

I have never had a wide board that would allow me to carve, in the past the overhang on my toes and heels would catch on the snow causing me to slide out. The idea of having wide board where I can eliminate this issue is pretty tempting. I headed down to COMOR in the middle of the Whistler Village Stroll. Super knowledgeable people down there, it was my preferred shop even before I knew Andreas.

This dude knows his stuff and loves talking about snowboards. If you're in Whistler and looking to buy some new gear, definitely have a swing by and talk to the guys.

I chose my shortlist of boards: Lib-Tech Skunk Ape, Lib-Tech TRPro Wide and Yes Pick Your Line. Andreas choices: Salomon Sick Stick and Nitro Squash

Nowadays there are so many good options when it comes to picking a board, and many different options in sidecut, base, your name it. I was interested in getting a board with magne-traction (or similar) and wide enough to carve.
