Actor Kamran Rizvi was murdered by his cousin due to a family dispute in May 31,1990. When Kamran was a little boy, his father divorced his mother to marry the sister of Farha and Tabu's mother. Farha and Tabu's mother's sister ( Kamran's new step mother) had another sister who was a widow. That widow had two children. A son named Zulfikar and daughter named Yasmin. Kamran Rizvi's father migrated to Canada with his new wife and invited his new wife's widow sister to visit them.

It was then Kamran's father proposed marriage his wife's sister. Being a Muslim he could have two wives. Her children Zulfikar Abbas Mithwani and Yasmin were in shock and angry at this news. It was reported that Yasmin attempted to overdose on pills. Zulfikar Abbas Mithwani was known to be a hooligan and had a very violent temper. He went to Kamran to ask him to talk to his father to stop the proposed marriage. Kamran stated he had no control on the situation.

Finally the straw that broke the camels back was when Zulfikar's mother returned from Canada.. married to Kamran's father. Zulfikar went to receive his mother at the airport. He dropped her off at the hospital where his sister Yasmin was recovering and went straight to meet Kamran Rizvi with a knife. This is when Zulfikar stabbed Kamran Rizvi outside his house, after a huge heated argument. He threw the knife and attempted to flee to Hyderabad with his mother and sister. He was apprehended by the police shortly after the incident.

Nephew of Bollywood legend Shabana Azmi. Cousin to Bollywood actress Farha Naaz and Tabu. Passed away in the late 90's. Was murdered by his cousin due to a property dispute in May 31,1990. Starred in the shelved film Ashrafi Film Production's "YAARI YAAR KI"(1990) Starring Rohan Kapoor,Upasana Singh,Kamran Rizvi,Reetu Priya,Sadhana Singh, Vicky Khan,Satyen Kappu.Music by Rachana Payal. Starred in the shelved film Pativrata (1985) opposite Mandakini. Was involved with Pooja Bedi. The serial Chandrakanta was first planned in the 1980s with Anuradha Patel in the lead role. Kamran Rizvi, Dilip Dhawan ,Neelam Mehra, Satish Kaushik were also signed for the serial. Lived in America for a few years. Attended Roosevelt University. He was part of the Indo - Pak Society in Chicago. He made a video film "Tum Kaun Ho". He bumped into Sanjeev Kumar in Chicago and told him he wanted to become a actor. Sanjeev advised him now would be a right time to return to India.

Starred in R.K.Nayyar's shelved movie "Court Room" (1986). Starring Poonam Dhillon,Kamran Rizvi. Signed the TV serial Chandrakanta in 1986. It was shelved for financial reasons. Starred in the shelved movie "Sanam Saath Na Chhodo"(1986) Starring Kamran Rizvi Roshni. Starred in the shelved film Sarkar (1985). Starring Anooradha Patel, Kamran Rizvi,Vickey Khan. Directed by Meraj ( Gulzar's assistant). Starred in the shelved movie Hasmukh Films "Antim Uddeshya"(1990).

Starred in s shelved film Moon Rise Movies Pativrata (1985). Starring Kamran Rizvi ,Mandakini, Raza Murad, Sujit Kumar, Sadashiv Amrapurkar,Music by Usha Khanna, Directed by S. Karnam.
