This is a great song that you should learn on the guitar if you want to play on the guitar. Hi, my name is Kerry 2 Smooth! I am a guitarist, producer, and instructor from Los Angeles, California. In this R&B guitar tutorial, I'm going to show you how to play What You Tryin to Do? by Jagged Edge. It's a great 90s R&B song to learn. The song is in the key of F Major. We use diminished chords in the song also. We also play octaves.

My best advice to you is to take your time and learn to play it in sections. Once you get it down really well, then you can explore new ideas to make the song more interesting.
