Rick Bergh

Rick was ordained into the Anglican Network in Canada as a priest in the fall of 2017. He is a Certified Thanatologist (CT), Narrative Therapist (NT), speaker, workshop leader, and best-selling author. His first 31 years of experience were as an ordained Lutheran Minister
and as a counselor with extensive work and ministry in palliative care and bereavement. Rick’s wisdom on this topic is much more than just theoretical – his practical knowledge comes out of his own personal experience. Rick and his four children used these principles following the death of Rick’s first wife from ovarian cancer at 47 years old. Rick serves a parish in Langford, BC and provides numerous workshops across Canada and the US. His mission is to equip and train leaders and laity in ministering about loss and end of life.
Rick lives in Victoria, BC with his wife, Erica.
