Each resolution choice comes in 3 variations: a 20 minute video which you can play on any ultrawide TV or ultrawide monitor. Simply select the Repeat function to have it play continuously by looping every 20 minutes.

The 4K UHD MP4 video uses the new H.265 (HEVC) codec, which is now the universal standard. For older HD screens H.264 was the universal codec, so we have used that for the HD MP4 Video.

You can download more affordable ultrawide screensaver versions in both resolutions (3440x1440 or 2560x1080). Ultrawide fireplace screensaver for Microsoft Windows PCs and laptops.

The screensaver versions install just like any other screensaver with the default computer settings for a screen saver. However, our screensavers also have the added options of being able to control the volume, use multiple displays and choose which displays to use e.g. I turn it off on my laptop which has a standard aspect ratio and just let it play on my ultrawide monitor.

The screensaver versions cost less as they are just 3 minutes long and loop by themselves. You also get an option to set a high resolution screenshot as your desktop wallpaper. Which is ideal as the edges are dark where your desktop icons most likely are placed.

The footage is encoded with 5:1 surround sound, with natural sounds of a real log fireplace.
