It is a real 3d and it is uploaded to youtube as 3D 180. This is not a 3d with small FOV like all other 3d videos on youtube, it is a 3D in 180 degrees. It is not possible to see 180 degrees without distortion, so Youtube shows it as 3d only on special devices like VR helms.
