Student-Led Fruit Market | Learning in Action | 2025

The student-led fruit market was a live demonstration of activity-based learning and interdisciplinary education. Students applied concepts from various subjects, including nutritional science, environmental science, mathematics, economics, Ayurveda and Sanskrit, in a real-world setting. Beyond academics, they also gained hands-on experience in essential business skills, including customer service, financial management and teamwork. They learnt the art of customer service in the spirit of Bharatiya sanskriti, where every interaction is guided by the Vedic principle “atithidevo bhava.”
