Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla's chief designer, recently (December 1) communicated with reporters in Shanghai Lingang through the Internet that Tesla hopes to establish the Tesla Shanghai Research and Development Center in China. The center will focus on vehicle development, energy products, charging equipment and other research and development work, and comprehensively promote Tesla's localization strategy in China. In the future, Tesla will also launch products in line with the Chinese market.
