I am not sure I have ever heard the term before, and as I explain in the video, what we are reviewing is a nice quality glass magnifying lens with protective coatings and a diffused LED light source. And when we clear up the 100X confusion (it is 10X), we can evaluate whether or not so spend our hard earned funds on such a gadget.
