The Largest & Best ATC/ATV Collection In The World - Binky's Forever ATC Museum
There's no more hallowed ground for a three wheeler enthusiast to travel to than Binky's Forever ATC museum. What he has put together in the past number of years is second to none and in a class all of it's own. If you think you may be getting a pretty good collection put together, well... go have a seat and prepare to be humbled.
Binky Tapscott is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and has a passion for three wheelers. His preference is for Hondas, so don't be confused by the Tri-Zinger he has as a mailbox. A few years ago he told his wife he was going to buy some of the three wheelers he always wanted as a kid... and she says "boy, you wanted a lot of three wheelers..." His collections spans all makes and models. He has a variety of conversions and four wheelers in his collection. He has one of a kind custom machines including one that was built by Paul Jr. on American Chopper, as well as many other very unique builds.
His facility was built specifically for his three wheeler collection. It contains a turntable for whichever machine he wishes to highlight, signage from every major brand, and a wall that shows the chronology of promotional ATC brochures from Honda from 1970 to 1987. It is simply outstanding. These machines sit on a black and what checker board floor that makes all the colors pop and just visually makes you stand in awe as the incredible sight.
You may wonder, "how can I go see these??" Well, you're in luck! Binky is working to make his collection accessible to his fans by having specific days/weekends available for visits. You'll have to book your slot through a system that he is working to set up. Be patient because it's coming!
I had the privilege of meeting Binky the first time back in 2017 when I tagged along with my friend Mitch Reppucci who was making a trip to his place to bring him a machine. My other friend Vinny Staffa was along for the ride as well. It was a quick down-and-back trip for us, but we spent about 6 hours there that day and Binky hung out with us the whole time, telling us stories and answering questions. I was just blown away. Since then I've been in touch with him here and there, but certainly not a lot. We chatted last back in the spring about a few things, but that was the last time.
While on a family trip to Myrtle Beach, we had made plans to stop at a friend's place for 2 nights on our way home and, by chance, I became aware that we'd be about 20 minutes away from Binky and would likely have some time to kill.... so I shot him a text message and he told me to c'mon by! My family got to come with me this time and I couldn't have been more honored... We were all blown away. The improvements he made since 2017 were incredible. There's very few, if any, places I can go anymore where I can be wowed by someone's collection.... but this will be one that I can safely say will "wow" me forever... So it is very fitting that he's named it Forever ATC.
Thank you Binky for your time and the hospitality you showed to us that day... and thank you for what you've done to preserve the history of these machines that we love. You're collection is amazing and you're looked up to by many, many people.
