Electric London Taxi

We take a look at a 100% electric taxi. Unlike the new London Black Cabs which are a plug-in hybrid with a 1.5L petrol engine, this Black Cab is pure electric. This London black cab has been given a second life by seamlessly integrating it with an electric drivetrain out of a Nissan Leaf. Now there's no need to scrap these great cars after 12 years purely because of emissions. If cities truly want to adopt low emissions public transport then THIS is the way. Not only is it 100% electric but it's also re-purposing and recycling what we already have.
