Introducing Two New Horses To An Established Group

November 10, 2019 - Mosby was introduced to the core group on a snowy morning. At first he checked out his new surroundings, then he went to eat with the others. When he was met with disrespect, he established his place as the boss by moving everyone else off the feed. He continued to push off those who were willing to be pissy, and he quietly ate with those that were gentle towards him.

November 13, 2019 - VMJ Mighty Classy was introduced to the group. Mosby was totally settled in as the leader of the group at this point. Mosby and the young bay were penned together when they first arrived, as they came from the same place, but that is the only tie that the young bay has with the group. The others, especially the mares, weren’t so friendly to the gelding. In a couple days, he knew his place among them as well.
