Millers Falls #12 Breast Drill Pt 3 Clean & Prep For Paint by Old Sneelock's Workshop

The Millers Falls #12 Breast Drill is a well built machine. The chuck shaft rotates on adjustable cone bearings. The 1/8" diameter steel ball bearings are captured in the top and bottom races. The bearing next to the chuck is adjustable. It can be set and clamped with a screw across a slit in the barrel of the drill.
This drill has seen better days. It came to me with at least 2 broken or worn out balls in the bearings. I was able to order new balls for the bearings. When I'm done the drill will work as good as new.
