In 1983, a tomb dated back to Han dynasty was discovered in Guangzhou, China. This tomb was finally revealed as one belongs to the ruler of Nanyue Kingdom. The discovery of this kingdom made people realize that the South of China is actually highly civilized. In the tomb, the most exquisite item discovered is the Jade and Silk Burial Suit 丝缕玉衣. In this short video, we will visit the Museum of the Xuzhou, to learn more about jade suits in Han Dynasty, from one of the best excavated example: the Jade Suit for King of Chu.
