Fresh Watercolor Techniques Using Sprays
PLEASE NOTE: This is an extended version of the video Shawn Petite uses on her channel. So, if you've already watched the video on Shawn's channel you can advance to 19:15 for the additional techniques insight.
This is my process video for the Shawn Petite Creative Design Team project. I call it "Watercolor with a Twist," or "Fresh Watercolor Techniques Using Sprays. The watercolor technique is inspired by the glorious old master oil painters use of massive bouquet subjects combined with pointillism, but using watercolor in its spray form.
In this video, I demonstrate how to use sprays, which is watercolor in a bottle, to create a gorgeous bouquet using stippling/pointillism. I show how to go from an elegant look to a more whimsical, mixed media effect, so that's why my video is a bit longer.
I hope you find this video inspiring.
