Legends of Le Mans: '66 - '71 | The True Golden Age of Racing

The term "the golden age of racing" gets used very, very often. But at its very core, the golden age of racing takes place in the 60s. A time where speeds were incredible, engines were loud and drivers were pop stars. It's also a time in which legendary movies about the racing scene were made (think about Grand Prix from 1966, or Steve McQueen's film Le Mans from 1971).

It's only natural then, that when these cars excited the pits at the Le Mans Classic last year, a beautiful spectacle began. In this video, you'll get a feel of what it must have sounded and looked like from the mid to late sixties and early seventies! Enjoy.
