This video highlights DIYNate's fix for when ice maker for a Maytag MFI2665XEM7 would not produce ice. Issue was driven from water valve accessed through main interior section of refrigerator and required replacement of part K-77623 (W10312696) icemaker water valve. DIYNate previously tried replacing the icemaker ice tray/lever, the water inlet on the back of the fridge, as well as the water filter. Finally, replacing the icemaker water valve located on the inside of the fridge was the answer. This issue can be recognized and detected if the ice maker is able to cycle (e.g., by filling the ice maker with a small amount of water using a syringe or turkey baster), but if water is not filling the ice maker regularly.
