Composting Toilet In A RV - What They Don't Tell You (Full Time RV Living]

Composting toilets are gaining in popularity due to their environmentally friendly nature. Some people love them and some people hate them. Our goal in this video is to talk about the dirty truth when it comes to composting toilets and talk about what you need to know when deciding whether or not a composting toilet is for you.

One of the primary concerns we had when starting our rv lifestyle full time was the need to conserve water. Since we like to boondock as much as possible this was a primary concern. The Natures Head composting toilet uses no water, so it's a perfect solution for RVers who want a top-notch off-grid toilet solution.

We installed the Natures Head composting toilet a little less than a year ago and we couldn't be happier. There are some challenges when it comes to using the toilet, but this are easily overcome. The most frequent question we get is "do composting toilets smell?" The answer is...well..maybe if you don't take care of it properly.   : We are Brian and Shawnna, a full time rv couple who enjoy the rv lifestyle. We are empty nesters who recently quit our corporate jobs, sold our home and auctioned off just about everything we own to live a simpler, more purposeful life in our RV.
