Hey guys, it's Lance. And today I wanted to talk about a career test you can use. This is something I used when I was a career coaching college students. But it works for anyone from college students on up to someone who's maybe looking at taking a career change. So I'll put this down in the link below its own net, and it will take you to this page here.

Also, I'll put a second link as well, that will take you to other recommended options for some career tests interested in that. But once you get to this page, it's free, you're just going to want to click the start button here. And it will basically take you through the process of sorry, clicking the Next button here, and that will take you to the next page. So what it's doing is it's kind of showing you how to take the test. So you're going to read each question carefully. Decide how you would feel about doing each type of work. And there are 60 questions so it doesn't take too long. And you'll get some great information at the end of it. Like they say here, you don't want to necessarily think about Do you have enough education or training to do Do the work how much money you would make?

Try not to think about that. It's really think about your reaction to doing that type of work. So I'll keep going here. There's no right or wrong answers again, this is for you. It's your own personal So just to give you an idea, building kitchen cabinets, so if I'm thinking about that, you know, it's like, oh, do I strongly dislike that idea? Do I dislike the idea? I'm gonna say probably strongly dislike lane brick or tile. Yeah, strongly does develop a new medicine. Wow, that actually sounds let's see, what do we got here? We got um, oops, gonna think this is kind of middle of the road. And then this one is the like, oh, unsure? Yeah, I could see actually the liking that study ways to reduce water pollution. Yeah, I could see that. writing books or plays. Yeah. playing a musical instrument. Yeah. Teach an individual and exercise accuracy, like helping purse.

And then when you get to the end, it will give you a some results on what's gonna be best for you. So I'm actually just Oh, yeah, see, you can see out kind of how It makes sure that you've got to do one before doing the other one. And you can just keep going along. So again, I'll put a link to this down in the description below. And I'll put an additional link where you can get other career tests to help you figure out what might be the best choice for you. Because this is a really good one. Like I said, I've used it over and over with students. It's very insightful, but I find it's best to do you know, a couple of them and then see what trends you notice also, sometimes you'll do one where one test will show you in for show you some results that another one won't, and vice versa. Another one we'll highlight maybe some other areas. And so it's um, there we go. You answered all the questions, return to the first page or you can just so if you want to reduce some of them, you can and here it gives you Yeah, this great sort of results like the type of person you are kind of profiling you are, you know, kind of profiling your what kind of skills you have and you can keep Click clicking next here. Okay, now that you've learned about each jobs zone, select the current or future jobs zone. That's right for you. Yeah. And so I'll do something maybe like that high preparation needed. That's great. Okay, and the next screen, you'll see careers related to your interest profile.

Ah, here we go. We got broadcast news analysts. And then what's cool is you can actually click on these, and it will open up a new page to give you all this information about a broadcast news analyst even get things about job about like how much you make education person, you know, type of skills you need really, really cool. And then you go back to each of these and kind of click on what else, you know, reporters and correspondent that also sounds kind of cool. And you know, then these are similar got reporters and correspondents was the other one. Oh, I see. Just Just overlapped it. So if I click on this again, there we go, broadcast news analyst.
