Repeat C- Section Post Op Infection

It has been 12 days since I went in for a repeat Cesarean to deliver my second child Everett ( AKA Cutest baby ever ) . On day 6 postpartum I spiked a fever and immediately went to the doctor where we found out I had an infection on my incision. I thought we caught it in time but turns out that was only the beginning of what would turn out to be the most awful infection I have ever experienced in my life. This is postpartum sometimes also known as the 4th trimester. It is certainly not glamorous and a bit TMI but make sure you are always paying close attention to what is happening in your body it just might save your life.
