The Gospel According to St. Matthew 1965

Italian version of the life of Jesus, directed by Paolo Pasolini. Pasolini chose to film Matthew's Gospel because, he said, "John was too mystical, Mark too vulgar, and Luke too sentimental." This clip features Jesus delivering some of the Sermon on the Mount, which the film sees as a series of statements, given at different times that were later connected by Matthew.
