Nobels ODR-1 BC (Natural Overdrive)
Nobels ODR-1 BC (Natural Overdrive)
This pedal is seemingly the best kept secret in the guitar world. It's seemingly a very popular overdrive pedal among session players in Nashville and LA. The Nobels seems to be a fairly basic pedal. It has controls for level, gain, and spectrum. It also has a bass cut under the hood, hence the BC after ODR-1.
So is it any good? Check out the video to find out.

The gear I most often use.
A Stratocaster of some kind, either an Yngwie Malmsteen Strat, such as this: https://www.thomann.de/intl/fender_yngwiemalmsteen_vw.htm?partner_id=45801
or a custom Strat with a scalloped fretboard.
For 7 string stuff I mostly use an Ibanez Universe.
A Marshall 1987x: https://www.thomann.de/intl/marshall_1987x_roehrentopteil.htm?partner_id=45801
Marshall Cab with 30 Watt Celestions: https://www.thomann.de/intl/marshall_mr1960ahw_gitarrenbox.htm?partner_id=45801

An AKG C-414 mic: https://www.thomann.de/intl/akg_c414_xls.htm?partner_id=45801
The patch cables on my pedalboard are these: https://www.thomann.de/intl/ebs_pcf_dl18_dlx_flat_patch_cable.htm?partner_id=45801
