Alia Farid is an artist who lives and works in Kuwait and Puerto Rico. She is the curator of The Space Between Classrooms, a forthcoming exhibition at the Swiss Institute in New York that responds to the limitations of learning within the prescribed architectural and structural parameters of an archetypical school setting.
