Operators of the 8th separate regiment of the Special Forces recorded the movement of a Russian group of four soldiers during night observation.
"We constantly monitor the most dangerous places in our area of responsibility using a drone with night and thermal imaging capabilities," the operator said. He explained that an enemy group was detected during a regular flight of the area in the Avdiivka direction.
"The mortar launchers reacted immediately and within a few minutes they delivered a direct hit to the centre of the enemy group, completely destroying the invaders," he added.
The Ukrainian army has been vigorously conducting defence operations in and around Avdiivka since October. The Russians suffered heavy losses in Avdiivka. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, over the past day, Ukrainian troops neutralised 860 Russian soldiers. Since the start of the full-scale occupation, Russia has lost 364,730 soldiers.
