(:Review:) Survivor Filter Pro ~ Camping or BugOut Pack FIlter .01 Micron ~ Will It Filter Pee?

I put this thing to the test on everything from muddy water to my own pee.
Tests were done on video with a TDS PPM meter.

This filter performed well and exactly as it is supposed to through all of my testing. The muddy water ended up at about the same TDS reading as tap water, which is really good. It seems pretty well made and thought out. It is simple and lightweight so it isn't going to weigh down your pack.

Test Setup:
Control: Distilled Water (0 PPM)
Sample 1: Tap Water (12 PPM) Filtration had no effect
Sample 2: 3 Stage Water Filter (12 PPM) Filtration had no effect
Sample 3: Reverse Osmosis Water (1 PPM) Filtration was not attempted
Sample 4: My Urine (2000 PPM) Filtration did not bring it within scale of meter and taste/color did not change
Sample 5: Muddy Water (22 PPM) Filtered down to 14 PPM with no funny taste.

Conclusion:
Since it is designed only to filter fresh water sources and it did so exceptionally on the muddy water sample I believe this filter works as it should. I would recommend it. It is easier to operate than many more expensive and heavier filters I have hauled around the woods.
