2 Trooping the Colour - Royal Procession to Horse Guards Parade

Part 2 - Royal Procession to St. James Park

360 years - Trooping the Colour - Queen Elizabeth II's Birthday Parade 2011
BBC

The Queen travels down the Mall from Buckingham Palace in a Royal Procession with a Sovereign's Escort of Household Cavalry (also known as "Mounted Troops" or "Horse Guards").

The Duke of Cambridge (Prince William Arthur Philip Louis) helped the Queen in her Official birthday celebrations by taking part in his first Trooping the Colour parade (he is also the Colonel of the Irish Guards from this year onward). But this was also the first time that the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery did not attend the ceremony since its first appearance in 1997, but instead did the gun salutes on the anniversary of the Queen's coronation and on the Duke of Edinburgh's birthday the day before, thus the job of handling the salutes was entrusted to the Honourable Artillery Company in the Tower of London grounds with a 62-gun Royal Salute.
