DIY Battery powered electric reel mower (Greenworks 18" reel mower + 20v Max power)

This is a Greenworks 18" reel mower converted from manual to electric, and powered by a 20v lithium ion battery pack.

There are plenty of electric reel mower conversions on YouTube already, but I wanted to take advantage of the large number of 20v lithium ion battery packs already on hand. This mower is powered by the internals from a 20v drill and utilizes the drill's reduction gearbox to provide the needed torque and the slipper clutch to protect the drive train when the blade gets jammed by a twig or pine cone. The yard is relatively small so a standard capacity 20v pack is able to provide enough power to cut the lawn twice and power the leaf blower for cleanup after.

- Chain Sprocket 1/2" 43 Chain 10T
- 5/8" ID x 3/4" wide 30mm x 1.0 OD right hand adapter (Staton 2409)
- 410 roller chain
- misc materials (ABS filament, screws, shrink tube, wiring, mesh wire sleeve, zip ties)
